Who We Are
Together We Can Make a Difference
At the start of the pandemic in 2020, we decided to build our 1st Community Pantry out of recycled furniture. After seeing the impact the pantry had on our community, we decided to grow the Community Pantry into a full 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization. We currently have one active food pantry serving Leavenworth County, KS residents.

“Take what you need, leave what you can.”
Our Mission
To reduce food insecurity in Leavenworth County by providing accessible, no-barrier food support, building community partnerships, and creating a culture of compassion and community togetherness.
Our Vision
A thriving community where everyone has consistent access to nutritious food—and no one has to go hungry.
What We Believe
- Dignity matters. Everyone deserves food without judgment or red tape.
- Community is powerful. We’re neighbors helping neighbors.
- Food is a human right. Access to it shouldn’t depend on your income, background, or circumstance.
What Makes Us Different
- 🛒 No forms. No ID. No barriers. We trust people to know what they need.
- 🤝 Community-run. Volunteers, families, students, and local businesses all play a part.
- 🧡 Flexible giving and receiving. From pop-up pantries to holiday meals, we adapt to meet the needs of the moment.
